Review by Laura S. on 6 Apr 2021review stating The magazine always helps me
The magazine always helps me dream about my next destination. Unlike Travel and Leisure with its $4,000/night hotel rooms and $2,500 luggage, Afar is relatable to the real traveler. I love everything about the magazine. From the photos to the layout?beautiful. The articles are terrific.

I first saw AFAR in the airport magazine store. I subscribed and have enjoyed the magazine ever since. I now give the magazine as gifts to my friends, so I can keep mine to myself- win, win!
Review by Johannesd on 11 May 2012review stating The Best Travel Magazine
Afar offers the most stunning photography and in-depth articles I've ever come across in a travel magazine. Their articles don't only cater to luxury travel, but also mid-range travel. Afar's writing covers everything from top local street cart eats to hotel rooms in medieval castles. Ads are normally for travel in foreign countries, so they typically add content rather than taking away from the overall quality. Afar's photography goes way above and beyond a regular magazine, coming close to the level of quality one would expect from National Geographic. This magazine is just phenomenal. If you like travel magazines, Afar will blow your mind. It's that simple.

Finally, a travel magazine that speaks to travelers and global citizens. Afar magazine spoke to me as an intelligent human being who wants to really experience the people and cultures in the places I visit.
